About Me

Studying Art is a life-long adventure. I vividly remember declaring in the third grade that I would be an artist.
Patricia teaches at the Savage Art Studio oil, pastel and watercolor. Students are mentored by her hands-on approach and philosophy on painting. She stresses getting the gesture, rhythm, and mood of the painting and getting it quickly. "In landscape the light changes, in portraiture the model gets tired and in floral still life the flowers wilt".
