Born in North Dakota, Bauer’s formative years were spent overseas. He took his first painting class in England at age 13. He graduated from Trinity University in Texas and continued his art education while pursuing other professional goals. Now a full time artist, Bauer’s impressionistic and contemporary work is imbued with a vivid sense of color and light. His oil paintings are characterized by years of watercolor techniques that blend color in unsuspecting ways. Bauer is a member of the Arizona Artist Guild.
