“Wanderlust” is a word often used to describe award-winning artist Kristine Scharf Kainer. Born in North Carolina, Kristine led the lifestyle of a typical military dependent. Her father, an officer in the United States Marine Corps, was transferred frequently throughout the East Coast. As a result, Kristine was exposed to the inherent beauty of each locale in which she lived.
