“I do not seek photo realism in paint. I seek capture my reaction to the subject before me or the expression of an emotion/ feeling inside of me.”
Jani Lori was encouraged to pursue art as a child and she went on to study photography at the NY Institute of Photography in Manhattan. Later she studied art at SUNY Albany. Creativity was expressed in many ways before focusing on painting full time.
